Gigawhite

Gigawhite® at 5% has been proven to have a significant skin brightening effect with regular topical use. It was additionally shown to reduce the color and size of age spots in a twelve (12) week "in vivo" study. This showed that the products had at least a double activity: the blocking of enzyme receptors and the direct inhibition of tyrosinase. Gigawhite is an extract of seven organically grown Swiss plants. All extracts have the ability to inhibit tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for the production of melanin or skin pigment. These extracts are combined in a proprietary and synergistic ratio to maximize their activity and produce an even more effective compound.

Gigawhite Studies

Pilot In Vivo Skin Whitening Study With Gigawhite

The study was conducted on asian subjects, ages 25-55, with dark spots on face and applied Gigawhite to each side of face for 3 months.

Skin Whitening Results

Objective measurements of changes in skin color were obtained with the Minolta Meter. A significant decrease in skin color was observed after six and twelve weeks. A 7% change was observed after six weeks and increased to 15.3% change after 12 weeks.

Age Spot Evaluation

Results were observed with respect to size and darkness of age spots in comparison to surrounding skin. After 12 weeks there was a 28.6% decrease in the color of age spots and size was decreased by 8.6%.

At a concentration of 5% and after 12 weeks, Gigawhite™ shows significant lightening activity after 12 weeks of treatment (Asian skin) without observing any particular irritation. At a concentration of 5% and after 12 weeks, Gigawhite™ shows significant reduction of age-spots color intensity.

Malva Sylvestris Extract The areas of the detected objects (skin imperfections) decreased significantly on each studied area of the face and the variance decreased significantly over the entire face. In the 2-center study, 28% percent of the subjects reported a greater than 50% overall global improvement in their skin by the end of the study compared to 11% of the subjects after 4 weeks of treatment.

Biowhite Serum

Biowhite serum inhibits the production of tyrosinase - the key enzyme in melanin production, thus stopping the formation of melanin pigments. It also contains plant extracts that exfoliate dark surface cells while promoting healthy cell renewal. Hyaluronic Acid

Young skin is smooth and highly elastic because it contains high concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid, which helps skin stay healthy. As we grow older, the body loses its ability to maintain this same concentration in the skin. Hyaluronic acid helps to bind water, the ability of the skin to retain water also declines with age. As a result, the skin becomes dry and loses its ability to restore itself. Without water, the spaces in the skin appear which leads to wrinkling and the older skin appearance.
